Flight period - April to October

Wingspan 5.3 to 6.5 cm, 2.1 to 2.56 inch.

Male and Female both have white wings with broad black tips to their forewings and yellowish undersides. The female also has two black spots on forewings. Males have no spots on the upperside, but two black spots on the underside.Also known as the cabbage white as usually lays its eggs on members of the cabbage family and its caterpillar can reduce plants to a skeleton.
